Consultation on the Commission's REA Environmental Report

The Commission’s Regional Environmental Assessment (REA) draft Environmental Report is under formal consultation by relevant Statutory and Stakeholder consultees. The consultation period of this report runs from 25th September until 30th November, 2013.

The REA is a management tool designed to assist renewable energy developers understand the environmental considerations and risks associated with their development plans on Alderney or within its territorial waters.

ABPmer Ltd is undertaking the REA project on behalf of the Commission. This comprises of three phases of works: the scoping phase, a detailed baseline characterisation and finally a determination of potentially significant environmental effects.
